With several requests from small-scale companies and initiatives from established companies, the IATA launched this program to reduce fraudulent cases related with payment, sales, and cyber activities.
The IFP aims to minimize economic losses due to fraudulent activities by using data analytics and provide fraudulent knowledge at industrial levels to minimize losses in the future.
Ever since the IFP was introduced, it has been adopted by many companies and this program has received backing and investments from large scale companies as well as investor firms.
The IFP has a positive impact on the global fraud detection and prevention technology market and is likely to boost the market in the coming years.
Big Data concepts can massively aid the growth of the global FDAP market, due to their ability to monitor and track fraudulent cases as well as prevent future scamming with the help of predictive analysis.

But important questions remain unanswered, including: what are the main ways in which democratic nations can boost deterrence and build resilience against disinformation campaigns and cyber-attacks on election infrastructure, e.g., are risk-limiting audits and paper trails enough?
To contrast that approach, this talk presents three 'archetypes' of autonomous transport futures (autonomous cars, advanced driver assist, and connected cars), and an analytic model called 'handoff', as a way to redirect our thinking away from the notion of objects and tasks, and towards complex systems of digital and physical infrastructure that implicate certain interests and values in different ways.
In this presentation, we identify three techno-legal transformations (the displacement, confounding and inflection of law) and propose a research agenda on the changing cultural constructions of law, namely the idea of techno-legal consciousness.
While there is a long tradition of studying ‘legal consciousness’ and, to a slightly lesser degree, ‘technological consciousness’, we argue that only a united analytical framework can capture the co-constitutive role of law and technology in producing and disrupting social constructions of law and governance.
The presentation reviews the respective consciousness literatures, outlines an analytical framework for studying techno-legal consciousness, and draws some ‘lessons’ that this analytical framework produces for regulatory responses to the development and deployment of robotics.
IFP TALK THE FUTURE OF FOOD FACTORIES AT INDUSTRY SHOW
With the speed and development of technology moving at such a pace, and with the introductions of robotics and AI fast becoming the norm around the world, the factory of the future, even 50 years from now, will have evolved beyond recognition.
“I believe there will be some truly ground-breaking advances, especially as General Artificial Intelligence (GAI) is achieved and starts to integrate into these facilities.” The event will take place at the Arena MK in Milton Keynes on Tuesday 25 June and Ed’s talk will be on the Future Factory Live stage at 2:15pm and you can register to attend here.
