The purpose of the AAAI conference is to promote research in artificial intelligence (AI) and scientific exchange among AI researchers, practitioners, scientists, and engineers in affiliated disciplines.

AAAI-18 will have a diverse technical track, student abstracts, poster sessions, invited speakers, tutorials, workshops, and exhibit and competition programs, all selected according to the highest reviewing standards.

New Conference: AAAI/ACM Conference on AI, Ethics, and Society

Orleans, USA http://www.aies-conference.com/ As AI is becoming more pervasive in our life, its impact on society is more significant and concerns and issues are raised regarding aspects such as value alignment, data bias and data policy, regulations, and workforce displacement.

Only a multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder effort can find the best ways to address these concerns, including experts of various disciplines, such as AI, computer science, ethics, philosophy, economics, sociology, psychology, law, history, and politics.

The conference welcomes contributions on a broad set of topics, included the following ones: Submitted papers should adopt a scientific approach to address any questions related to the above topics.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: To accommodate the publishing traditions of different fields, authors of accepted papers can ask that only a one-page abstract of the paper appear in the proceedings, along with a URL pointing to the full paper.

Results previously published or presented at another archival conference prior to this one, or published (or accepted for publication) at a journal prior to the submission deadline, can be submitted only if the author intends to publish the paper as a one-page abstract.

AAAI publishes nearly one hundred proceedings, technical reports, edited collections, and magazine issues each year, in hardcopy, CD, and electronic form.

Called the 'journal of record for the AI community,' AI Magazine helps AAAI members stay abreast of significant new research and literature across the entire field of artificial intelligence.

This quarterly publication features timely, feature-length articles, consistently crafted to be clear enough to permit specialists to review work outside their particular area of expertise.

For more information about AI Magazine, please consult the following: The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence and The MIT Press established the AAAI Press in 1989 as a publishing imprint founded to serve the information needs of the international AI community.

In this location, members of the scientific community and the general public can freely access most of papers published by AAAI, including technical reports, proceedings papers, and most issues of AI Magazine.
